Media personality Yinka Theisen has opened up about her emotional fallout with actor and filmmaker Linc Edochie, revealing a web of private revelations and personal hurt in a recent interview with Uche Maduagwu.
“What Linc did to me, I’m shocked. I can’t lie to you, I’m shocked,” Yinka said, visibly pained.
“This is a man a lot of people don’t know. The [Edochie] family had a tragic event recently. And I was there for him. I came to stay with him in Lagos, I supported him.”
Though she declined to reveal full details out of respect for the family’s privacy, she hinted that what transpired deeply hurt her.
“I will just leave it at that because it’s a sensitive thing, and I don’t want to bring out a family secret that a lot of people don’t know about.”
Yinka went on to detail how their relationship began. She claims Linc confided in her about struggles in his marriage, alleging that his wife had been unfaithful and was battling substance abuse issues.
“I started a relationship with him after he told me a very, very sad thing about how his wife was sleeping around in Abuja with all the Alhajis… and that she’s a weed head.
“She smokes weed every day, and that she withdraws the medication of their last child that had seizures,” she claimed, adding that she has text messages to back up her story.
According to Yinka, her involvement with Linc stemmed from a place of emotional support.
“We became very close in the sense of just emotionally supporting him because I couldn’t believe that a woman would repeatedly cheat on such an awesome man,” she said.
