Ghana’s Roland Nii Dodoo Addy will serve as the assistant referee for the CHAN match between Congo and Sudan on Tuesday. He will work with Brighton Chimene, Centre Referee from Zimbabwe, Kegakologetswe Lucky (Assistant II) from Botswana, and Lamin Jammeh, Fourth Referee from The Gambia.
Roland Addy, recently participated in a final preparatory camp in Cairo, having officiated in several high-profile domestic and continental matches, earning respect for his calm presence and accuracy on the field. His selection highlights the growing trust CAF places in him and other Ghanaian match officials.
Other officials include Nimubona Arcade, Match Commissioner from Burundi; Aboubacar Doumbouya, Referee Assessor from Guinea; Helly Zafinimanga, General Coordinator from Madagascar; Mark Anthony Fish from South Africa and Joao Paulo Grilo De Almeida Vicoso from Portugal, Technical Study Group.
Ngwa Akonwi Angu Lesley from Cameroon is the Media Officer, and Glory Wenimfoo Swai from Tanzania is the Media Officer. Christofine Kakuua from Namibia is the Security Officer, and Evans Ocharo Arumba from Kenya is the Security Officer. Abongile Tom from South Africa is the Video Assistant Referee, Lahlou Benraham from Algeria is the Assistant VAR, Thulani Khangelani Ngwenya from South Africa is the Doping Control officer, Siaka Tiene from Côte d’Ivoire is the Assistant General Coordinator, and Gift Alex Macha from Tanzania is the Broadcast Venue Manager.
The match will take place at the Zanzibar City-Amaan Stadium at 17:00 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
