The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, has extended a generous hand to his alma mater, Nungua Senior High School, donating GHC47,000 to support the school’s anniversary celebration.
The presentation, which took place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, was made through the Happy Man Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters, Black Legend and Coffee Gin.
Returning to his roots, Dr. Borketey described the gesture as both personal and purposeful.
“It is always a privilege to give back to the institution that shaped my journey. Supporting Nungua Senior High is not just a duty but an investment in the future of our youth,” he told students and staff.
The donation was warmly received by the school community, which hailed Dr. Borketey as a shining example of how old students can contribute to strengthening education.
Through the Happy Man Foundation, Dr. Borketey has consistently championed initiatives in education, health, and community development across Ghana, with this latest act underscoring his commitment to empowering the next generation.
