Ghana’s future hinges on innovation and 24-hour economy – Julius Debrah

Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has underscored the government’s resolve to drive economic transformation through its flagship 24-hour economy policy, urging businesses to embrace innovation and quality to remain competitive.

Speaking at the This Is Ghana Exhibition in Accra on Sunday, September 7, 2025, Mr. Debrah explained that the initiative seeks to eliminate bottlenecks, expand opportunities, and create a business-friendly environment for local and international players.

“Our 24-hour economy policy is designed to create more opportunities, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure Ghanaian businesses operate in an environment that matches your ambition and creativity,” he said.

Mr. Debrah encouraged exhibitors to use the platform not only to market their products but also to showcase Ghana’s potential on the global stage.

“You are not just showcasing products. You are showcasing Ghana’s future,” he noted, stressing that persistence, innovation, and quality will position the country as a strong player in the world market.

He reaffirmed that the 24-hour economy remains central to government’s agenda, assuring entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators of sustained support to unlock Ghana’s growth potential.
