Former District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bongo, Peter Ayinbisa, has declared that the people of Bongo continue to miss his forward-thinking leadership and developmental initiatives.
Reflecting on his tenure on Bolgatanga-based Dreamz Fm, Mr. Ayinbisa, who now serves as the Upper East Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said he spearheaded several projects that transformed the district, setting him apart from his contemporaries.
According to him, his record of achievements has cemented his legacy, with many constituents often expressing nostalgia for his time in office.
The former DCE, who is seeking re-election as the NPP’s Upper East Regional Communications Director, disclosed that his bid has attracted massive grassroots support. “Since I announced my intention, I have received calls from all zones across the region pledging their unflinching support for my candidature,” he revealed.
He further emphasized his commitment to strengthening the party’s communications machinery in the region as the NPP readies itself for the 2028 general elections.
