Bongo District Assembly equips technical institute to boost skills training

A fresh wave of support has hit the Bongo Technical Institute as the Bongo District Assembly delivers critical tools and equipment to strengthen technical and vocational training under H.E. John Dramani Mahama’s visionary Reset Agenda.

The gesture, carried out in partnership with the Postal State Stability Mechanism, underscores government’s renewed focus on empowering young people through skills development and practical education.

Departments that benefited from the donation included Home Science, Electrical and Building and Construction.

To further enhance academic activities, the Assembly also presented a generator to guarantee uninterrupted learning during power outages.

Presenting the items, the District Chief Executive, Hon Joseph Akasake Abaah described the donation as a significant investment toward producing a skilled workforce for national growth. He reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting education and building a future where young people are equipped for industry demands.

The Paramount Chief of Bongo, who witnessed the presentation, praised the initiative and urged continuous support for institutions shaping the next generation of artisans and professionals.

This support marks a meaningful step in strengthening technical education in the district, ensuring students have the modern tools needed to excel and contribute to Ghana’s development agenda.
