US-based Ghanaian musician Samaiam is set to energize Bolgatanga with two major events—the Mega Health Walk on March 1, 2025, and the Asaa Musical Festival on March 8, 2025, at the Bolgatanga Jubilee Park.
Both events, sponsored by Happy Man Bitters, are part of Samaiam’s commitment to giving back to the Upper East Region, where he grew up.
The Mega Health Walk aims to promote fitness and wellness, featuring a city-wide walk, free health insurance registration, health screenings, and soccer, capped off with an interactive session with Samaiam and health experts.
A week later, the Asaa Musical Festival will showcase top Ghanaian artists in a celebration of northern Ghanaian music and culture. The festival promises a night of electrifying performances.
Samaiam, known for fusing Afrobeats with traditional Ghanaian rhythms, is eager to reconnect with his roots.
“This is my way of appreciating the support I’ve received over the years,” he said.
