In a momentous event at the Gbewaa Palace, His Majesty the Ya-Naa, Overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom, honored a cyclist and climate activist, James Kumbeni for his remarkable contributions to environmental advocacy.
The recognition comes during the activist’s nationwide Climate Action Cycling Tour, which has garnered widespread attention across Ghana.

These symbols represent the pinnacle of recognition for distinguished individuals in Dagbon society.
“I never imagined this day would come in my life,” he remarked with emotion. “I never thought my bicycle could take me this far, yet here I stand.”
