The Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) has officially released the groupings for the much-anticipated 2025 Super Middle League, scheduled to kick off from May 16 to May 25 at the Tarkwa TnA Park.
The regional championship, which will feature 16 top-performing clubs, promises to be a fiercely competitive contest, with only one coveted ticket to Ghana’s national Division One League up for grabs.
According to the WRFA, the 16 clubs have been drawn into four groups. Each group will battle it out in a round-robin format, with only the winners of each group advancing to the semi-finals. The two semi-final winners will face off in the grand finale, where the ultimate victor will book their place in the 2025/2026 Division One League.
The tournament is expected to showcase the best of regional football talent and provide a thrilling spectacle for fans in the Western Region and beyond.
Speaking on the release, WRFA Chairman Simon Ehomah is confident in the preparations for the event, adding that the Association is committed to ensuring a smooth and competitive tournament.
With everything on the line, clubs will bring their best to Tarkwa, making the TnA Stadium the focal point of football in the region for 10 thrilling days.
