Swedru All Blacks established a potentially crucial lead atop the Zone Two league table after defeating bottom-of-the-table Nzema Kotoko 3-0 at the Ampain AAK II Sports Arena on Sunday. Defender Zayat Bubakari scored first for Swedru All Blacks in the 39th minute, while Clement Tutu added the second goal in the 68th minute before top scorer Rudolf Mensah sealed the victory for the visitors in the 75th minute. Swedru All Blacks tops the Zone Two table with 60 points after 26 League matches in the ongoing Access Bank Division One League.
Elsewhere, Pac Academy recorded a third consecutive win for the first time this season after defeating Sekondi Eleven Wise 3-0 at the Mohammed Kamil Arena. Gabriel Osei scored the first goal for Pac Academy in the 39th minute, while Justice Asamoah doubled the lead for the home side in the 66th minute before Akwesi Mensah added to the tally in the 79th minute. Pac Academy are currently sitting in third place in the league table with 48 points.
Second placed Sekondi Rospak SC remained within touching distance of Swedru All Blacks after beating Asekem FC 1-0 at the Akoon Park. Derrick Junior Asare converted a spot kick swiftly in the 75th minute to help them earn all the spoils. They are second in the table with 56 points –m four points adrift of leaders Swedru All Blacks after 26 matches.
