Alaye Geng supports Dephine Karelia Baduweh in fight against kidney disease

Rising music trio, Alaye Geng, has shown remarkable generosity by donating an undisclosed sum to support Dephine Karelia Baduweh, a nursing trainee at Zuarungu Nursing Training College battling End-Stage Kidney Disease.

The donation, made on January 18, 2025, highlights the group’s dedication to making a positive impact. Dephine’s condition requires urgent medical attention, with dialysis sessions at the Tamale Teaching Hospital costing GHC400 each.

While this treatment provides temporary relief, her long-term survival depends on a $35,000 kidney transplant to be performed abroad.
