Teams have started arriving in Accra for the Africa Schools Football Championship, which is scheduled to run from 23rd to 26th April 2025.
Teams from Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda, Malawi, and Algeria have already touched down and are settling into their camping bases at the University of Ghana.

The remaining teams are expected to arrive on Sunday, April 20, and Monday, April 21, ahead of the tournament’s kick-off on April 23.
Host nation, Ghana, will be presenting teams for both the Boys and Girls categories.

The tournament will be preceded by a number of comprehensive capacity-building programs, including a young reporters’ workshop and workshops on safeguarding, coaching, safety, and security. A program for young referees shall also be held.

Matches of the Africa Schools Football Championship will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium, with the final taking place on April 26.
