Alex A. Ayamdoo, a former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bongo in the Upper East Region, has expressed outrage following reports that President John Dramani Mahama and his team discovered and removed 76 secret cameras at the Jubilee House, the seat of government.
In a strongly worded statement, Ayamdoo criticized former president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, describing him as “wicked to the core” and calling for his punishment to serve as a deterrent.
“This wicked old man, must be punished to serve as a deterrent to others aspiring to the highest office of the land. So wicked to the core!” Ayamdoo wrote.
The allegations of secret cameras at the Jubilee House have sparked national debate, with critics questioning the ethics and implications of such surveillance measures.
The discovery, as reported by Mahama’s team, has fueled concerns over privacy and governance during Mahama’s administration.

Alex A. Ayamdoo served as the District Chief Executive for Bongo under President John Evans Atta Mills from 2013 to 2016.
