Bulldog to petition ORAL over Akufo-Addo’s statue

Artiste Manager, Bulldog, has announced his intention to petition Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) to investigate the erection of a statue of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on United Television in Accra, Bulldog criticized the initiative, describing it as a waste of taxpayer money and called for those responsible to be arrested and prosecuted.

“I plan to petition the ORAL team to probe whoever commissioned that statue. You cannot misuse state funds on such a pointless project while roads remain in poor condition. For eight years, we’ve been speaking up, and we will continue to do so,” he stated.

Bulldog revealed that he consulted his lawyer to understand the legal implications of damaging state property, highlighting his belief that the regional minister who authorized the statue should be investigated.

“I don’t know what laws permit the erection of such a statue by the roadside,” he added.
