The Southern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League will miss the flamboyance of Berry Ladies, the lowest-performing side in the 2024/25 season.
It has been a turbulent season for the Madina-based side, whose performances couldn’t save them from relegation. They amassed just 7 points out of 18 matches and conceded 36 goals throughout the season.
On the other hand, the fate of Halifax Queens and Faith Ladies will be decided in a relegation playoff. Both sides drew 1-1 over two-legged encounters in the first and second rounds, respectively, and are tied 8th and 9th on the league log with 13 points each.
According to the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Rules and Regulations for the 2024/25 season, the Domestic Competitions Committee and the Competitions Department of the Ghana Football Association will announce the venue and time for the relegation decider on Monday.
