Yermak highlighted Ghana as a vital partner in West Africa and expressed hope that the recent opening of Ukraine’s embassy in Ghana would deepen bilateral ties.

He reaffirmed Ukraine’s dedication to achieving a lasting peace, while noting Russia’s ongoing efforts to prolong the conflict, citing a recent missile strike in Kryvyi Rih that killed 20, including nine children.

The discussion also covered expanding cooperation in agriculture, food security, digital transformation, transport, and education. Yermak emphasized Ukraine’s role in global food supply stabilization through its “Grain from Ukraine” initiative.
