After attempts to arrest Rev Ntim Fordjour were botched by the presence of members of the Minority Caucus, the minority addressed the press on April 10, 2025.
At the press conference, the Deputy Minority Chief Whip clearly instructed Rev. Ntim Fordjour not to utter a word.
However, after the minority leader, Alexander Afenyo Markin addressed the press, Ntim Fordjour could not restrain himself from making a few comments against the instructions of the Deputy whip.
The minority leader, peeved by the action of his colleague, was heard saying, “What is wrong with you? Why are you such a difficult person”.
The minority leader has promised to represent the ranking member of the Defence and interior committee of parliament.
He believes that rather than intimidate, the government must engage the minority.
