The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region, Peter Ayinbisa, has called on the newly appointed regional minister, Donatus Akamugre, to deliver results that align with the high standards set by his predecessors.
Speaking during an engagement with Bolgatanga-based A1 radio, Ayinbisa emphasized the importance of effective leadership in addressing the region’s challenges and advancing development.
“Akamugre must work hard to meet the benchmark set by his predecessors,” he stated.
“The region expects results, and he has the experience to succeed.”
Ayinbisa’s comments come at a critical time as the Upper East Region grapples with issues such as infrastructure deficits, youth unemployment, and economic challenges.
He expressed confidence in Akamugre’s ability to rise to the occasion, citing his experience and understanding of the region’s dynamics.
“The people of the Upper East Region are looking forward to seeing tangible progress. This is not the time for excuses but action,” Ayinbisa added.
Akamugre has yet to respond to these remarks but faces growing pressure to deliver on key developmental promises.
The region, known for its resilience and vibrant political activity, will be closely monitoring his performance in the months ahead.
