Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has assured Ghanaians that the 2025 Budget is a true reflection of their needs and aspirations.
Presenting the budget to Parliament on Tuesday, March 11, under the theme “Resetting the Economy for Ghana We Want,” Dr. Forson emphasized that it was shaped by extensive consultations with key stakeholders.
“This budget was preceded by the National Economic Dialogue on the theme: Resetting Ghana; Building the Economy We Want on March 3 and 4. Through this consensus-building dialogue, the people demanded real solutions to the challenges that plague us as a country,” he stated.
According to him, the engagement at the National Economic Dialogue played a crucial role in shaping the policies outlined in the budget, ensuring that it directly addresses the concerns of Ghanaians.
Dr. Forson expressed confidence that the government’s approach will restore economic stability, as the budget is designed to implement strategic reforms and tackle pressing economic challenges.
