Former President John Dramani Mahama arrived in Bamako, Mali, on Saturday, March 8, as part of his ‘Good Neighbourliness’ tour of West African nations.
The visit marks the first stop of a regional tour that will also take him to Niger and Burkina Faso—countries that recently exited ECOWAS to form the Alliance of Sahel States.
Mahama was warmly received at the Modibo Keita Airport by Mali’s Transitional President, General Assimi Goïta.
