Tudu market: GNFS prevents blaze from spreading

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) swiftly contained a fire outbreak at a storey building in Tudu Market, Accra, preventing it from spreading to other parts of the building.

According to GNFS Public Relations Officer Alex King Nartey, the fire, which started from a boutique on the top floor, posed accessibility challenges.

However, firefighters managed to contain the blaze using available resources.

Three fire tenders from Makola, National Headquarters, and Korle Bu Regional Headquarters were deployed to the scene. As of reporting time, the fire had been confined but not fully extinguished.
