National Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha, has explained that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Electoral Commission (EC) will be blamed for any bloodshed at Ablekuma North.
“The EC and the NDC should note that any bloodshed at Ablekuma North will be on their head,” he told Accra-based OKAY FM.
The Electoral Commission has announced that it will organize a rerun in 19 polling stations in the Ablekuma North constituency.
This decision comes after the Electoral Commission told Parliament that it was left with three polling stations to be collated after the 2024 elections.
But the National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party is of the view that the EC is in bed with the governing political party.
He believes that this is a bad precedent being set by the electoral management body.
Salam Mustapha disclosed that the NPP has today, Monday, July 7, 2025, filed for an interlocutory injunction on the July 11, 2025, election.
