Joint Police and National Security operatives storm Wontumi’s residence with search warrant



A combined team of police officers and National Security operatives have stormed the residence of Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, to execute a search warrant.

The search warrant, sighted by Joy News, indicate that the operatives are authorised to conduct a search of his premises.

However, the specific reasons behind the search remain unclear at this time.

The current whereabouts of Chairman Wontumi are unknown.

Several senior NPP officials in the region have reportedly gathered at the scene in response to the unfolding development.
