Economist Dr. John Gasti and Director at the Institute of Economic Affairs Dr. John Kwakye have been appointed as Advisors to the Governor of the Bank of Ghana Dr. Johnson Asiama.
They are among three other individuals appointed to support the Governor to make policy decisions for the central bank.
Governor Dr. Johnson Asiama gave details of these appointments at the Opening of the Monetary Policy Committee Meeting today.
The rest are Franklin Belyne, former Head of the Banking Supervision of the Bank of Ghana and Francis Kumah, former Ghana representative at the International Monetary Fund.
