Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana was again on target for Atalanta in their Serie A win over Genoa on Saturday evening.
Sulemana was handed his second start of the season in the league having scored to secure UEFA Champions League football in their last game.
The 21-year-old started in a midfielder quartet which also included Matteo Ruggeri, Marco Brescianni and Marco Palestra.
Genoa struck first in the game, taking the lead through Andrea Pinamonti which gave them the lead heading into the break.
However, Sulemana scored another screamer for the away side two minutes into the second half, registering his second goal of the campaign.
Pinamonti scored again to restore Genoa’s lead but Daniel Maldini and Mateo Retegui were on hand to turn the game in Atalanta’s favour as they picked up a 2-3 win.
With his goal against Genoa, Sulemana has now scored in back-to-back games for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
