File witness statements by May 26 – Court orders prosecution in Adu-Boahene criminal trial

An Accra High Court has directed the prosecution team in the ongoing criminal trial of the former head of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), Kwabena Adu-Boahene, to file all witness statements by May 26, 2025.

The order was given by His Lordship, Justice John Eugene Nyadu Nyante, who has directed the Attorney General to file witness statements on or before May 26th.

The trial judge who raised concerns about personal liberties of the accused persons particularly Mr. Adu-Boahene, encouraged the deputy Attorney General to try as much as possible to expedited trial.

Mr. Adu-Boahene and his wife are currently on GH¢80m bail with two sureties, with one of Adu Boahene’s sureties to be justified.
