Excitement is reaching fever pitch in the Brong Ahafo Region as the Division Two Promotional Middle League officially kicks off this Tuesday, May 13, 2025. A total of 24 ambitious clubs will battle for a single qualification slot into the prestigious Access Bank Division One League.
The tournament, organised by the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BA RFA), will feature six groups of four teams each. Matches will be spread across six venues, ensuring that the entire region shares in the spectacle of grassroots football at its most competitive level.
Venues and Group Allocation:
- Group A: Goaso AstroTurf
- Group B: Ohene Ameyaw Park, Techiman
- Group C: Golden City Park, Berekum
- Group D: Baffour Sports Complex, Twumasikrom
- Group E: Wenchi Town Park, Wenchi
- Group F: Penkwase AstroTurf
After the group stage, the six group winners will be reorganised into two new groups of three. These new groups will play in a mini-league format, with the top team in each group advancing to the final.
The grand final will determine which club earns promotion to the Division One League, Ghana’s second-tier professional football league.
