GFA commences free Licence D Coaching course for Colts clubs in Sunynai

The Ghana Football Association, through its Football School, has commenced the second phase of its free Licence D Coaching course for Colts clubs across all Regional Football Associations (RFAs), starting with Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Football Region.

This initiative by the GFA President and Executive Council aims to train more coaches to effectively handle players at the Colts level (U13, U15, and U17) and enhance the technical standards of Colts football.

The Brong Ahafo RFA course is scheduled to run from Monday, May 12 to May 19, 2025, in Sunyani.

In line with the new CAF Coaching Convention, participants will undergo both theory and practical sessions for the required eight contact hours, followed by practical assessments and theoretical examinations.

Upon completion, the course will enable coaches to obtain the necessary training and licence to advance their profession. The course will be led by Technical Director Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah and facilitated by experienced coaching instructors, with administrative support from Administrative Manager Andrews Kwesi Eshun.
