Afrobeats star King Promise has been named Artiste of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.

The “Paris” hitmaker triumphed over a competitive field that included Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Black Sherif, King Paluta, Team Eternity Ghana, and Kwaku Smoke to take home the night’s top honour.

The award caps a successful year for King Promise, whose consistent chart-topping releases and international recognition have cemented his status as one of Ghana’s most influential musical exports.
