Iñaki Williams will not feature in the second leg of Athletic Club’s Europa League semifinal clash against Man United on Thursday.
The LaLiga club announced on Wednesday that the Ghana international will miss the match due to a muscle injury.
“Player Iñaki Williams has not been called up for the Europa League semi-final second leg match due to a muscle injury in the common tendon of the right hamstring,” the club said, adding, “His recovery will be monitored.”
The 30-year-old was substituted in Athletic Club’s league game against Real Sociedad on Sunday after 62 minutes.
Williams is the joint-top scorer for the club in the Europa League this season with five goals, alongside his brother Nico Williams, who has also not been included in the squad for the game.

Man United hold a 3-0 advantage from the first leg played in Spain last week, making a comeback a challenging task for Athletic Club at Old Trafford on Thursday.
