Ghanaian vlogger, Clement Asamoah, popularly known for his engaging updates on Gossips 24 TV, has shared valuable advice for aspiring content creators, urging them to have a side job alongside their vlogging career.

Clement opened up about his journey, revealing that while he has built a successful career on YouTube, he also pursued studies in Network Management, DevOps engineering, and is now almost done with his cybersecurity course. He also mentioned his involvement in Cloud Security.

“I am studying Network Management, I also did DevOps. Now I’m in cybersecurity and I am almost done. I am also doing Cloud Security as well,” he shared this on The Career Trail programme on Joy Learning TV and JoyNews.

Clement strongly believes that vlogging should not limit one’s career opportunities. He encouraged content creators to invest in their education and further their studies in areas of interest.

“If you’re making money from YouTube or vlogging, use that income to fund your schooling. If you can study law, go for it. If you’re interested in PR, pursue it,” he urged.

He highlighted the unpredictability of content creation as a full-time career, reminding viewers that there are “good times and tough times.”

With this in mind, he emphasised the importance of prioritising education and securing a stable side job as a backup in case a vlogging career encounters challenges. “There are times and seasons, glory days and dry days. So you have to go to school and find a side job,” he encouraged.
