There were scenes of joy, pride, and admiration as students and teachers of Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO) gave a rousing welcome to Adam Ajara, a proud student of the school and captain of Ghana’s U-15 Girls National Team, the Black Damsels, following her return from the 2025 African U-15 Championship.
Ajara, who led the national team to victory in the tournament, was celebrated by the entire school community in a colourful ceremony marked by singing, drumming, and dancing. Her exceptional leadership, skill, and commitment were instrumental in Ghana clinching the ultimate title in the continental competition, earning her national recognition and widespread admiration.

The young football sensation has become a beacon of inspiration not just for her fellow TAMASCO students but also for young girls across the country aspiring to excel in sports.
Speaking at the welcome event, school authorities praised Ajara for her discipline, leadership, and patriotism.
Ajara, visibly moved by the reception, expressed gratitude to her school, coaches, teammates, and the Ghana Football Association for their support throughout the journey.
With her calm demeanor and fierce performance on the field, Ajara is already being touted as one of Ghana’s brightest prospects in women’s football.

As she returns to school to continue her academic and sporting journey, TAMASCO, the Northern Region, and the entire nation stand united in pride—cheering on their young star who continues to shine both on and off the pitch.
