On April 24, 2025, Alagumgube marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of its fourth chapter the Accra Branch in Accra, Ghana. The event took place at Mother’s Inn, Kaneshie, and was graciously hosted by Richard Abanga Ayamdoo.
The inauguration drew several notable dignitaries who took time out of their busy schedules to attend. Among them were the Entertainment Chief , Naba Mohammed Malick Touga, Hon. Hajia Charity Chariyam Deputy Director General for Warehouse NADMO, Gabriel Akakiire Agambila Founder of Alagumgube Global, indigenes of the Upper East Region living in Accra, and many other esteemed guests.
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Richard Abanga Ayamdoo, African Chairman of Alagumgube, followed by an inspiring speech from the Founder, Gabriel Akakiire Agambila. Although currently residing in the USA, Mr. Agambila drove all the way from Bolgatanga to Accra to personally grace the occasion. In his address, he highlighted the importance of the Accra branch in Alagumgube’s expansion across West Africa and shared the association’s activities so far, vision, mission, and future plans.
A special guest speaker, Madam Paulina Bukere Kozotimo, also travelled from Bolgatanga to speak at the event. Her passionate speech encouraged members to unite and work collectively toward the development of the Upper East Region.
The event featured rich cultural performances that celebrated local heritage and unity. The Kasah Yongo Cultural Group delivered a captivating show, and there was a live band performance by Chale Boy, also known as “One Man Thousand,” with support from the Founder himself.
Following the formalities, the Accra Branch was officially launched, and the new executive team was sworn into office. The newly appointed executives are:

Organising Secretary: Akane Dominic Akuribila
Public Relations Officer (PRO): Roland A. Awelinga
Treasurer: Solomon Amoah Abanga
The PRO, Roland A. Awelinga expressed deep appreciation to all members especially those from the diaspora and the African executives for their trust and support in giving them the opportunity to serve Chapter Four of Alagumgube.
In his remarks, the Youth Chief advised the new executives to uphold the association’s mission and vision in order to advance its objectives and foster growth.
Attendees were later given the platform to share their ideas and insights on how to further strengthen and elevate Alagumgube’s impact.
The event concluded with a networking session and refreshments, reinforcing the spirit of unity and collaboration among members.
The inauguration of the Accra Branch as Chapter Four marks a promising new chapter in Alagumgube’s continued growth and its dedication to building a stronger African community.
