Real Tamale United has qualified for the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League playoff with four games to spare, following their 2-0 victory over Yepei FC. This win has guaranteed them the top spot in Zone One A.
After being relegated from the top-flight league last season despite returning with promise in the 2021/22 season alongside Gold Stars and Accra Lions, RTU has made a remarkable comeback.
They have won 18 of their 24 games, lost 3, and drawn 3, scoring 58 goals and conceding 16. RTU will now face the winner of Zone One B after Matchday 28 in the Access Bank Division One League.
