The pace of peace process is slow but let’s be committed to it


Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga has condemned the violence in Bawku.

He acknowledged that the pace of the peace process is slow, however, that should not be a condition to take the laws into their own hands.

He, however, urged the people of the area to remain committed to the peace process being led by the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Zugran Naaba Asigri Abugrago II and Nayiri Naa Bohagu Mahami Sheriga.

Mahama Ayariga condemned individuals who want to use the conflict to score political points indicating that he will not be distracted by the smear campaign against him and the political party he represents.
