Some footsoldiers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are attacking the Director of the National Service Authority.
Their problem is that the new director has blocked access to special postings and reposting for national service personnel.
To them, he should have a rethink of the decision because such promises were made especially to members of TEIN.
They questioned his contribution to reigniting the base during the 2024 elections.
Julian Cobbinah who was a member of the campaign team in 2020 and drafted the youth manifesto condemned the director of the NSA.
His post read “It is the audacity, gusto, tough talking and looking down on the party base by the CEO of the National Service Authority that amazes me.
It reminds of the death of one of the TEIN guys during the 2020 registration process. The National Service Secretariat(then) was one of the agents that caused the NDC in 2016.
We literally had to go begging former TEIN leaders to reconcile with the party. The change culture process that gave the NDC momentum with University Students came on the back of a difficult reconciliation program. The Current CEO of NSA was nowhere in that process. NO !
The party belongs to all of us. That Government is a gift for those who get appointed. He should keep that in mind.
We did not have our last elections in Ghana on December 7, 2024. We have 3yrs and 8 months to the next election in 2028. We should win that election by acting both right and fair with the party base and the country.
And I hope the TEIN COORDINATORS will protest fully. The only TIME political appointees do what is right for the vulnerable party base is when they see that their own comfort at where they sit is on the LINE !
These appointees take this decisions at the blind side of the President. Don’t allow them to stoke your anger against the Government. Be angry with the Appointee !!! Protest !
