Some residents of Asamankese in the Eastern Region were seen scooping palm oil from gutters after a tanker transporting the product lost control and spilled its contents onto the road.
The oil eventually drained into nearby gutters, prompting residents to collect it.
Eyewitnesses, speaking Twi in the background of a video from the scene, could be heard advising the driver to park the vehicle properly to prevent further accidents.
Despite the warnings, others were spotted busily scooping up the spilled oil from the gutters.
