Two suspects has been at the Upper West Regional Capital Wa over recent robberies and theft in Upper West Region
The suspects, Abdulai Ibrahim, 34, and Kipo Ibrahim, 36, have been apprehended by the Upper West Regional Police Command in connection with a series of motorbike thefts and robberies in the Wa Metropolis.
The arrest which took place on March 29, following an ongoing investigations into criminal activities in the Danko and Napogbakole neighborhoods. The suspects has been on the police wanted list for robbery and the theft of motorbikes for sometime now.
Upon a search at the suspects’ hideout, the Police command seized seven motorbikes with registration number(s) M-24-UW 4134, M-21-UW 6468, and M-20-UW 2846. Respectively.
The suspects have however been arraigned before the Wa District Magistrate and are expected to appear before court on Monday, April 28, 2025.
The Upper West Regional Police Command has commended the public for their continued support and cooperation in combating crime in the region and beyond.
