Ghanaian reggae musician and outspoken media personality Blakk Rasta has launched a blistering attack on Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, questioning her integrity and leadership.
Speaking on his show on 3FM, Blakk Rasta criticized the Chief Justice amid a petition seeking her removal from office, accusing her of partisanship and failing to uphold justice.
“Why on earth is Gertrude Torkornoo sitting there for? This is a woman who has shown no respect for patriotism… She is overly partisan,” he fumed.
Blakk Rasta, who initially welcomed her appointment, said he was disappointed by what he described as her failure to live up to expectations.
He also questioned her early public display of faith, suggesting that her conduct since taking office contradicts the image she initially portrayed.
“She was seen as a no-nonsense woman whose heart beat for Ghana, but in no time, her true chameleon colours started showing,” he remarked.
His outburst adds to the growing debate surrounding the Chief Justice’s tenure, with critics and supporters weighing in on her performance in office.
