King Paluta writes to Chatter House on TGMA Makoma snub

Chatter House which is the recognised body known to have been the organizers of Telecel Ghana Music Awards released the nominees list of the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards 26 on Saturday 15th March.

However, some music lovers have raised various concerns as to why one of King Paluta’s hit songs, ‘Makoma’ did not get a nomination in this years TGMAs.

Per our findings and converstaions with people close to the artist,King Paluta’s team has issued a petition to the TGMA requesting a tangible explanation to why his Makoma song is missing in this year’s TGMA awards.

King Paluta’s ‘Makoma’ was one of the biggest songs in Ghana in 2024. Together with his ‘Aseda’, ‘Makoma’ became the ‘anthem’ for the New Patriotic Party on their various campaign platforms. It also garnered a lot of online visibility in the year under review.

In tandem with this, King Paluta has issued a petition to the TGMA, requesting explanation to why the song is missing in this year’s awards.
