My own Bono people betrayed Me – Kofi Adomah speaks out in pain

Renowned broadcast journalist Kofi Adomah has expressed deep disappointment over what he describes as a betrayal by his own people from the Bono Region.

Speaking at a press briefing on March 13, 2025, Adomah revealed that he has suffered immensely while working for his people, only to be let down in the end.

His emotional outburst follows months of medical procedures after he was shot in the face while covering an event in Dormaa in December 2024.

“I want to talk before anything that will happen to happen. I’m in severe pain, with my head aching badly, but I need to speak out before anything happens,” he lamented.

The journalist, who has undergone multiple procedures to save his sight, expressed shock at the circumstances surrounding his injury and the controversies that have followed.

“If anybody will do this to me, I didn’t expect it to come from Bono people,” he added, his voice heavy with emotion.

While details surrounding the incident remain unclear, Adomah’s revelations have sparked widespread concern, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the attack.
