Gifty Oware-Mensah released after NIB interrogation

Former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Gifty Oware-Mensah, has been released by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) following her questioning over the ongoing ghost names scandal at the NSS.

Oware-Mensah was detained briefly from March 7 to March 8 and cooperated fully with investigators.

Her interrogation is part of broader efforts to address alleged irregularities within the Scheme.

While she may be recalled for further questioning, no formal charges have been filed, and Oware-Mensah has yet to comment publicly on the issue.
