A severe storm has wreaked havoc in the Kumawu Constituency, causing widespread destruction and displacing many residents in Kumawu and Oyoko.
The torrential rains and strong winds destroyed homes, disrupted livelihoods, and left families struggling to cope with the devastation.
Many residents have been forced to seek refuge as they assess the damage and begin the difficult process of rebuilding.
The Member of Parliament for Kumawu, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has expressed deep sympathy for those affected by the natural disaster.
He assured residents of his unwavering support, stating, “We stand in solidarity with every family and individual affected by this unfortunate incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.”
Hon. Anim has committed to collaborating with local authorities and relief agencies to provide urgent aid to the affected communities.
