Where is ‘Garu’s Yiiga’ ambulance? Residents demand answers from Dr. Thomas W. Anabah

Concerns are mounting in Garu as residents question the whereabouts of the “Garu Yiiga” (Garu First) ambulance, donated by Dr. Thomas Anaba, the Member of Parliament for Garu, before the recent elections.

The ambulance, which was widely celebrated as a crucial intervention for the health needs of the community, has mysteriously disappeared since the elections.

Many are left wondering whether the gesture was a genuine commitment to healthcare or a mere political ploy to secure votes.

With the “Garu Yiiga” ambulance missing, the community is struggling to transport critically ill patients to hospitals in Bolgatanga and Tamale, leading to dire consequences.

Frustrated residents are demanding answers and accountability from their MP.

“People are dying because of a lack of transport. This is not what we were promised,” said a concerned resident.

Efforts to reach Dr. Thomas Anaba for clarification have so far been unsuccessful.

The people of Garu deserve transparency and, most importantly, the restoration of the much-needed ambulance service.
