Kuchoko Roots Festival 2025 to celebrate political power change – Blakk Rasta

The Kuchoko Roots Festival returns on March 8, 2025, at La Pleasure Beach, and this year, its theme is deeper than music.

Ghanaian reggae icon Black Rasta has revealed that the festival is a celebration of political power change, symbolizing the people’s voice and the constant evolution of leadership.

“This year’s Kuchoko is not just about entertainment; it’s about change—political, social, and spiritual,” Black Rasta stated.

He explained that Kuchoko, his unique fusion of reggae and African rhythms, has always been a revolutionary force, championing justice and freedom.

For the first time in Ghana, the festival will feature legendary reggae stars from Jamaica, including Kenyatta Hill, Duane Stephenson, and George Nooks.

Their performances, alongside Ghanaian reggae greats, will create an unforgettable night of powerful music and conscious lyrics.

With reggae’s history of activism and resistance, Kuchoko 2025 is expected to attract fans, political thinkers, and cultural enthusiasts.

“Reggae has always spoken for the people, and Kuchoko carries that tradition forward,” Black Rasta affirmed.
