Former Executive Secretary to the President and Ambassador-at-Large, Nana Asante Bediatuo, is reportedly making significant progress in his recovery after suffering a stroke in the United States.
The Jubilee House had earlier confirmed that Bediatuo fell ill while on official duty and was receiving medical treatment in the U.S.
A statement issued on October 2, 2024, assured the public that he was stable and responding well to treatment, dispelling rumors of his death.
According to the latest updates, Bediatuo is now undergoing intensive post-recovery therapy, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to help him regain mobility and speech.
Reports indicate that he is learning to grip and walk with the assistance of therapists.
A key figure is in the Akufo-Addo administration, Bediatuo served as Executive Secretary since 2017.
He is also a distinguished lawyer, an Akyem Abuakwa royal, and a known fashion enthusiast.
