Resetting Ghana involves removing barriers to education and healthcare – John Dramani Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating obstacles to education and healthcare as part of efforts to reset Ghana.

Speaking to residents of Asuokow, he assured them of swift action to address a pressing issue where schoolchildren must dangerously cross a river to access education in a neighboring community.

In a social media post, Mahama stated, “Our quest to Reset Ghana includes a determination to remove barriers to education and healthcare across the country.”

He further noted that the Member of Parliament for Lower West Akim, Owen Kwame Frimpong, had already assessed the situation, and the Eastern Regional Minister would visit soon to facilitate a solution.

“We have identified the affected community where young schoolchildren must cross a water body to attend school. The Eastern Regional Minister will also visit as we work on an urgent and permanent resolution,” he assured.
