Parliament is Ghana’s most organized public institution – A Plus

Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, and the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, has described Ghana’s Parliament as the most organized public institution in the country.

Speaking to 1957 News, A Plus revealed that his perception of Parliament changed significantly after joining the house. He admitted that, as an outsider, he held a different view but now appreciates the institution’s level of organization and efficiency.

“The perception I had about Parliament was that it’s a very organized institution, and I commend those who were here before me. Often, when you’re outside looking in, it’s hard to fully understand how things work. But now I can confidently say everything here functions smoothly,” he stated.

A Plus further praised the cleanliness and professionalism within Parliament, noting it surpasses many public institutions in Ghana.

“This is a place where you can comfortably carry your coffee to the toilet. It’s that clean. I’ve worked in other institutions, including Korle Bu with Dr. Anyar, but Parliament stands out,” he added.

He emphasized the need for Ghanaians to recognize and commend honesty, particularly when it comes to giving credit where it is due.
